UTILITY DEPARTMENT

 

The Village of Gibsonburg vision is to be an efficient provider of superior water service.  It is also our mission to provide services vital to the health and safety of our residents and customers.  It is our goal to provide excellent response to the needs of our residents and customers at a fair and reasonable cost and to continuously plan for the future.

We welcome all new residents to our village.  Please review the Welcome Letter for water rates, city tax information, information regarding refuge pickup, and much more.

Are you new to Gibsonburg? Or moved out of town?

If you have recently moved into the Village of Gibsonburg OR have moved out of our village, we must be made aware of such an event.

Please use the "SIGN IN SHEET" if you have moved  into town or changed your address within our city limits.  If you move out of our city limits, please use the "SIGN OUT" form below.

UTILITY BILL PAYMENTS

All utility payments are due on the 15th of each month.  If the 15th falls on the weekend/holiday, payment is due the next business day.  The Village of Gibsonburg offers several ways for residents to pay their utility bills conveniently and on time.  Below are the options available.  Contact the Utility Department for additional questions at 419-637-2323 Extension 301.

Utility Payments

Cash, VISA, MC, Direct Checking, and DISCOVER are accepted on the utility payments.  Your account number is located on your utility bill and is needed to process all payments. With the new system, you will need to make an account using a username and password. If you have lost or utility bill, please call 419-637-2323 Extension 301 for account balance and account numbers.

Electronic Withdraw

Have your utility bill automatically withdrawn from a specified bank account.  Simply fill out the form below and drop it by our office or Depository (envelope slot) located outside the main entrance area of the Municipal Building at 526 N. Webster Street.  Call 419-637-2323 Extension 301 for any questions.

Drop off or Mail Payments

CASH & CHECKS ARE ACCEPTED

Payments can be made at our office during normal business hours of 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.  During non business hours, you may use our 24-Hour Depository located outside the main entrance.  To mail your payments, our mailing address is:  526 North Webster Street, Gibsonburg, OH  43431.

TRASH PICKUP INFORMATION

Trash pickup is weekly on Monday. Your trash must be at the curb prior to 6am on Monday or your trash could be missed.  If a holiday falls on a Monday, we will inform you of any schedule change thru Facebook, Nextdoor, and this website.
One 96 Gal tote is provided to each resident and you may also add to it if needed with One 33 gal bag or trash can.
We have also worked with our vendor, Cyclone, to pickup large/bulk items are an extra fee per item.  Tags must be purchased at the Town Hall prior to the items being placed on the curb on trash day.  Please do not place the large/bulk items on the curb without the proper tags attached.  Residents risk the possibility of being fined, if the items are not properly tagged.
